19 April 2005, I went to look for a volvo 740 as replacement for my current volvo 740. To bad it was raining hard, so the images are a bit blurry. (resized they are acceptable)
Initial information
This car was offered for sale for any acceptable bid offered. After sending an
initial bid we went to take a look at the car.
Initial impression
The car defenatively showed it's age as the right taillight was cracked, just
as the left headlight. Also there was some rust on the boot and the roof.
The interior was almost perfect. The seats looked good, no damage on any part
to be found.
Testdrive
The car handled prettig good, but while driving we noticed the controls were verry smooth. The car handles wel, accelerated good, even tho the engine wasn't running at the most optimal temprature. Cornering was good, just as the suspention smoothed the ride. The nivomats were working as expected.
Conclusion
Overall the car was technically in perfect condition, but the body needs some attention. I placed a bid for the car, but retracted it again after buying the 1990 745 GLE TD.
